the good government award
The Good Government Award,
inaugurated in 1953 by the Richmond-First Club, is a
particular
source of pride. This unique award honors a
citizen of the Richmond metropolitan area who has
made an
outstanding contribution to the cause of good local government.
The award also serves
to encourage a greater participation of
citizens in local government.
